Maybe I placed this question before in the wrong forums section.

I am using the form-model-management AddOn to set self-defined meta data/properties to the files stored in the document system. In my case most times a huge amount of files is stored to one folder and should get the same set of meta data.
How can apply the same set of meta data to multiple files with one step?

Is there a existing Script that applies the meta data of a folder/space to its files and subfolders? (can't find one)
Is there a method so I can search for the meta data of folder (applied with FM-Management)?

Thanks in advance!

It looks like you want to apply the metadata from your parent folder to all the contents/files stored within that folder.

If so, you may write an inbound business rule on your parent space - this rule should get the metdata from the parent space and add aspect onto the contents created inside the space and set the metadata from the parent space.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
