I think I am having the same problem as well. I am running the latest version of Community Edition, full stack, on a Slackware Linux VMWare server.

I've configured IMAP by adding the following lines to alfresco-global.properties:

imap.server.enabled=true
imap.server.host=192.168.211.25
imap.server.port=143
imap.server.attachments.extraction.enabled=true

imap.config.home.store=${spaces.store}
imap.config.home.rootPath=/${spaces.company_home.childname}
imap.config.home.folderPath=Imap Home
imap.config.server.mountPoints=AlfrescoIMAP
imap.config.server.mountPoints.default.mountPointName=IMAP
imap.config.server.mountPoints.default.modeName=ARCHIVE
imap.config.server.mountPoints.default.store=${spaces.store}
imap.config.server.mountPoints.default.rootPath=/${spaces.company_home.childname
}
imap.config.server.mountPoints.value.AlfrescoIMAP.mountPointName=Alfresco IMAP
imap.config.server.mountPoints.value.AlfrescoIMAP.modeName=MIXED

I am able to open up IMAP folders in Thunderbird, and to drag and drop files into these folders. However, the .eml files that are dragged into the Inbox folder are not visible in the Thunderbird client, although they do appear instantly when I view the repository via the web interface.

Anyone have any ideas as to what could be wrong here? I have not had any luck searching the forums, so if they answer is already here somewhere I would be most obliged if someone could point me in the right direction.

Exactly same problem on a newly fresh full stack install on a blank debian.
