I can tell that it's working to some extent, as the database was empty before starting Tomcat for the first time, and now the Alfresco tables have been created.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;This is a fresh install of Tomcat 6.0.26, Sun Java 6 Update 19 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4, 64-bit everything.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Here's the process:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;$ ps -ef | grep [t]omcat&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;tomcat&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; 14821&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; 1 93 13:20 ?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; 00:18:58 /usr/java/default/bin/java -Djava.util.logging.config.file=/opt/tomcat/conf/logging.properties -Djava.util.logging.manager=org.apache.juli.ClassLoaderLogManager -Djava.endorsed.dirs=/opt/tomcat/endorsed -classpath /opt/tomcat/bin/bootstrap.jar -Dcatalina.base=/opt/tomcat -Dcatalina.home=/opt/tomcat -Djava.io.tmpdir=/opt/tomcat/temp org.apache.catalina.startup.Bootstrap start&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;What is the deal with this thing?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
