Hello forum,

I want to set up an Alfresco (Enterprise) two node cluster under Windows (2008 Server) with a shared Content Store.

What is the possible way to configure this szenario?

I've tried to share my Content Store on Node A and mapped it as network drive on Node B. But this configuration throws exceptions on start up. (An other forum told me that this is because of the missing write locking?)

A replicating content store is to storage cost intensive for me.

Maybe it is a better way to use Linux for that?

Or is there a suitable way for Windows?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Juliane

There's no need for "write locking". What you probably have to do is make sure your lucene indexes are on a local disk and are not shared. The content store does need to be shared and typically that will go on a shared filesystem somewhere.

You should be able to get help from Alfresco support on setting up your cluster.
