Sizing Alfresco has a lot to do with your specific use case: reads vs writes vs searches, how much metadata you have, how much metadata needs indexing, automated ingestion process, add-ons deployed, etc.

The only way to know for sure is to benchmark your environment. There was a great DevCon presentation on this topic: https://devcon.alfresco.com/sanjose/sessions/alfresco-benchmarking (video should be posted soon).

Understanding that I know very little about your environment, here are my guesses:
* 8 cores should handle 300 concurrent users without a problem.
* Ingesting 400,000 documents a month on top of your regular user traffic is about 5 documents per second during business hours. You probably need a dedicated CPU for this (though 4 cores would probably be fine).
* You will then want your fail-over for high availability.

Since you need a highly-available architecture, you will want to take advantage of clustering and support which are only available with a subscription to Enterprise edition. That means you can rely on Alfresco Sales to help you scope out the proper configuration for your needs. If you need help getting in touch with the right person, let me know.

Cheers.

I am trying to evaluate the given sizing for Alfresco solution in following conditions:- 1500 users with 20% concurrency factor- 400 000 documents each month, where average weight of the document is estimated for 1-2 MB- Need for HA ArchitectureWhat would be desired setting for production environmen
