I have been trying to setup Alfresco Community 4.c (64 bit) on a fresh installation of Windows 2008 R2 (64 bit). I get an error during the installation of the PostgreSQL database. The error that I receive is "error running initdb.exe -U SYSTEM -E UTF8 -D" Program ended with an error. If I try to

i get the same error on win 2003 r2 64bit trying to install 4.0.c…

i solved the issue. I changed the security rights to everyone full control on installation directory c:\alfresco.

no security but functionality!!!!

DM with no security, is it a production system.
Not even able to imagine such a scenario !!
