Upload new version - stopped working

I have successfully used the "upload new version" functionality on alfresco share for some odd reason it has now stopped working.The "update file" window pops up but when I click the icon to "Select file(s) to Upload" nothing happens and I get the following error in the log….13:00:12,343 ERROR [org.

This might have something to do with "flash" plugin. The functionality does not work on any browser on the PC but does work on Linux.

Flash is one problem. I get, on Linux a flash plugin crash, which requires reloading the page. Then it works fine. May have a silent crash on OS X. Does not work on Chrome on any platform. HTML5/javascript weirdness.
