Hi,

I have some problems with the Coordinator and Contributor role. I found this in the WIKI (PermissionModelDefintionExample😞

A contributor can create content and then they have full permission on what they have created - via the permissions assigned to the owner.
and
A coordinator can do anything in the folder or its childeren unless the permissions are set not to inherit or permission is denied.

I created a new folder and assigned a group to this new space with a contributor or coordinator role. When I now try to cut or copy a document from another space and paste this in this new space I get the following error:

Unable to paste item due to system error: Access Denied. You do not have the appropriate permissions to perform this operation.‍

Is this the right behavior for these roles? The coordinator and contributor can create a new document but can not paste a document… seems strange.

Assuming the the user/group you mention has permissions on the original document to delete (for cut) or read (for copy) then yes it should work. Can you give any more info on your use case?

Thanks,

Kevin

I did the test again and indeed… it works like it should. I tried to cut a document from a space with read only access, not a smart thing to do. ops:

Sorry, stupid mistake. Thanks for the fast reply!
