Hello,

from your stacktrace I would expect that the message "date-format.defaultFTL" is not defined in any .properties file / the .properties file of the locale being used. Since it is not defined / can't be resolved, the actual key is used to format a date object, but the key itself is not a valid format string, which the template expects as the value of the message.
You should check your Share message property bundles, especially those you may have adapted (I don't recognize "date-format.defaultFTL" as a default message).

Regards
Axel

I have 2 servers, server A and server B. This error is from server B when i uncomment

custom-slingshot-application-context.xml
invitation-service-context.xml

Inside custom-slingshot-application-context.xml it points to alfresco.messages.common and alfresco.messages.slingshot which do not exist under /opt/alfresco-4.0.d/tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco/….

However on server A these are uncommented and i do not get this error message and those files do not exist.

server a is in Uk and server b is in US.
