I have the same problem in Alfresco 4.2b, but I diagnosed a different source of the problems.
When you use an trailing slash after the url, so 'https://example.com:7070/alfresco/' it does actually work. When you don't put a trailing slash after the url, I get redirected to share.
This is when using the internal Alfresco NTLM-authentication.

I've searched for this redirect, but I can't find it anywhere in the code. Can someone point us in the right direction?

Hi,we have a client app that runs on iOS devices. It can communicate with sharepoint servers with NTLM so that you can read and edit the documents in the sharepoint server. I am trying to make it work with Alfresco. For that purpose, I need to set NTLM and sharepoint protocol in my Alfresco server.I
