Hi there,i do have a content rule, that sends an email, when a new item enters a space. The email is sent, but the sender is always admin@alfresco.com, whatever configurations i make. (already changed the settings in alfresco-global.properties)I use alfresco community 3.4 and installed the complete

The setting in alfresco-global.properties is only used for initial creation of the admin user object.

To change admins email afterwards, you have to….

- Login to Explorer as "admin"
- From Administration Console, choose "Manage System Users"
- Search for user "admin"
- From actions, select "Modify" and change admin's email adress.

(This is also the path to change admin's password)

Dear Friends,

can you send me settings for email outbound, i set all configuration but getting errors.

Error:

org.alfresco.repo.forms.FormException: 03180008 Failed to persist attributes due to: org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'mail' defined in file [C:\Alfresco\tomcat\webapps\alfresco\WEB-INF\classes\alfresco\subsystems\email\OutboundSMTP\outboundSMTP-context.xml]: Invocation of init method failed; nested exception is org.alfresco.error.AlfrescoRuntimeException: 03180007 Failed to send email to:alftest@wasaaiq.com

Please help…
