New to alfresco so please be patient if this has already been answered.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I would like create a space that maps to an existing folder that have a tree structure and each sub folder has some files. The request is to access the files through Alfresco API.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;All files and folders have to be uploaded to the Alfresco Repository - there's no ability to use an ad-hoc folder on a local disk. You can use CIFS, FTP, WebDAV or one of the web clients to upload.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thanks,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Mike&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
