I posted an earlier thread but wasn't sure what to do after my second question, so I apologize if I'm overstepping my bounds.

While planning out whom I wanted to grant permissions for various sites, I ran into a problem. Here is the scenario:

If I invite a user to a test site as a site manager, once they accept the invite, they appear to have the proper permissions.
If I instead add a group to the site with site manager rights, then add a user to the group, they appear to have the proper permissions (can customize the dashboard, add and delete documents, etc.) until they try to do More->Customize Site, at which point they get a page that has the "Customize Site" banner but all the actual site customization components are missing. I haven't encountered anything else they could not do yet.

I did some digging around on jira but did not see this reported as a bug. I'm not sure if there's something else I should be doing or checking. Does anyone have any suggestions?
