No need to run the installer again, just grab alfresco.war and share.war from &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A href="http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Community_file_list_3.4.c" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"&gt;http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Community_file_list_3.4.c&lt;/A&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; from alfresco-community-3.4.c.zip.       <description>Hi Folks,Here is a description of my problem, step-wise:- Was running Alfresco community 3.3- One day someone tells me that they cannot log in to share- I check the main client and receive the dreaded "404" error- I decide it's apt time to install 3.4b- Back up sql via "mysqldump -u root -p –add-dro</description>

All was needed was a rebuild of the index.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;For those who visit this thread for a solution, edit&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;PRE class="language-none line-numbers"&gt;&lt;CODE&gt;/tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco-global.properties&lt;SPAN class="line-numbers-rows"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/CODE&gt;&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;and add the following line:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;PRE class="language-none line-numbers"&gt;&lt;CODE&gt;index.recovery.mode=FULL&lt;SPAN class="line-numbers-rows"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/CODE&gt;&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;then start alfresco, and you can watch the index rebuild progress by doing:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;PRE class="language-none line-numbers"&gt;&lt;CODE&gt;tail -f &amp;lt;alfresco_root&amp;gt;/alfresco.log &lt;SPAN class="line-numbers-rows"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/CODE&gt;&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thanks to loftux for the help!&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
