The released version works against 4.0.a (I just checked it) and should also be ok against 3.4.d and later.

I had a user install Alfresco Mobile on his iPad yesterday and he was not able to access the repository. He kept getting the message that "either your settings are incorrect or you are not connected to the Internet . . ." However, when he entered the URL in his browser, he was able to access it just fine. We are using https for external access.

Are you able to tell me what I should look for to troubleshoot this issue?

I had same problem. It solved when i installed my own root CA certificate via safari
check it via Settings->General->Profiles

but on Ipad with iOS 5 this solution is not working

Hi Alex,

Are you using a self-signed certificate for external access? If yes, you'll run into this issue as the app currently does not support self-signed SSL or untrusted certificates. If not, is your repository using the default SSL Port?

I'm having the same issue with the iPad app - works fine using http on 8080, but same error as above if using https on 8443. I have a standard v4 install, with just the server.xml file edited to enable the https connector on 8443.

Monker1980. Please check that your settings are correct (HTTPS set to 'ON' and Port is set to '8443') and that you're able to successfully connect to you your Alfresco instance using Safari. Also, please note you must be using a valid SSL certificate. The app currently does not support self-signed or invalid SSL certificates at this time.

Yeah all settings are correct, but we are using self-signed certificates. Any idea when self-signed support is coming?

Its on the backlog but hasn't been prioritized so I can't give an ETA. Please raise a JIRA issue and this will help get this issue on the radar and will also increase if it starts to get voted up.

If you have NOT upgraded to iOS 5, I believe there is a workaround, which is to install the CA on your device. Upgrading to iOS 5 renders this workaround useless.

Just as a disclaimer, I am unable to comment on the process on how things are prioritized. I'm just lending a helping hand in the forums.

No problem, JIRA is the issue tracking system that Alfresco is using to track issues for their products. I've created a ticket with this issue as I've been asked about this multiple times. The issue is here:

You should vote on this issue (you'll need to create an account on their system) and it will come up for Alfresco to review.
