Greetings…how long does it takes to make customisation , and automation workflow in alfresco?(Community Edition 4.0.d)can i do it quickly?within a week or soany help would be appreciatedthank you

It is depends on the how complex your workflow would be.
It is not fixed.But once you know the structure it is easy to customize.

by the way,,,let say that i have to customize the scripts for every workflow that i want,is that true?

well In workflows the no of stages are not fixed.
At each stage there could be no of actions we wanted to take all those things decide the complexity in creating workflow.
So when I say it is not fix that means its always very based on Business requirements.

For creating the new workflow either you can create JBPM based workflow of Activii based workflow.
refer the tutorials on the alfresco wiki.
wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/WorkflowAdministration

It is not necessary you always have to use the script only.
