Problem starting Tomcat

Hi,
at first sight it seems your DB is down, not reachable or the connection is not well configured in your alfresco-global.properties.
You should check them out.

Caused by: com.mysql.jdbc.exceptions.jdbc4.CommunicationsException: Communications link failure
Caused by: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect‍‍

After these exception the context cannot be started.

ok thank you I have to settle the problem of database connection with my default database Mysql. After that ,the tomcat server freez when trying to start it.

Hi,
I cannot see anything wrong into your log.
If ti is your first run you have to wait until all database structured are created.
It could take some time to execute…
When Alfresco is up and running you should read in your log

This is the 2nd time after having to reinstall alfresco.The first time everything went well.And now after my second time starting tomcat ,i have this 3 lines added to the console of tomcat:

Hello,

I just solved the problem, it was due to the lack of memory of the JVM, so I added this command line in the file catalina.bat

set JAVA_OPTS=-XX:MaxPermSize=256m ‍
