Hi,I have to perform a feasibility study on the archiving of documents with a high volume in Alfresco.The context is:1) We need to store about 700,000 documents per month with a retention period from 5 to 10 years.2) Potentially 5,000 people can connect into the system (intranet)3) documents are RTF

You don't say what you want to do with the documents!

There's two things I'd look at
1: Is how your documents get "ingested" and added into alfresco. There was a session at last year's devcon on that type of application.
2: Can your data be segmented, perhaps in one alfresco instance per year? You will get better index performance if you can do that.

The documents come from an in-house application and will be archived on the fly.
