Hi,

We have a requirement to restrict the content download to a set of users. Our idea was to create a Custom Consumer role which has limited permissions. We could create the custom role by following the Wiki resources and other forum posts, but some of our sites got broken after this (expected behaviour as per Wiki) and we had to manually repair them using a script. However, we dont feel comfortable doing this change in Production because of this issue.

Has anyone done something similar to this or followed the above approach of custom roles? Is it safe to do it in a Production environment?

We feel that custom role is the best way to implement this but hesitant to do this in Production due to the above issue.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks
