create content back end process:-how content gets saved

Hi,I had a doubt when we click on create content -> we are directed to page where we can enter the details iename,type.. and then we click ok,we are redirected to text editor where we can write whatever we want in our file and finally we save it..i just want to know whatever we write in rich text

So set up a development environment with eclipse, check out the source code, set a break point and step through it in the eclipse debugger
