      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Timers in Activiti are handled by the 'job executor' component.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Basically, it is indeed a threadpool that periodically polls a database table for timers that are due.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
