Look further up your log file.    Is there an explanation (INFO or WARN) about why your repo is in read only mode?

Have you upgraded from a previous version?

Is this a clean install since 29th Jan?

When you say "the licence was not expired" do you actually have a licence?    And is the licence for the version you are running?

And finally, have you configured alfresco to be in read only mode yourself ?

I don't know why the repo is on read only mode.
I have the evaluation version that was downloaded the 29 januari.
I have not make an upgrade , it' is a new installation of alfresco.I installed tho time de version because the one time , I was a problem with the tomcat.

I installed the alfresco by default , no customize from me.

check your licence ., make sure that was copied in alfrescco extensions, other wise create a licence folder under this folder copy your licence and restart the server.
