Sent a content rule on your Site Document library space to apply the version aspect to all content uploaded. Specify the rule should apply to all subspaces.

I have tried doing this on Alfresco Labs Version V3.0.0(Stable). I have found that using the CIFS interface in Windows the files take forever to upload, even navigating folders takes forever and is practically useless.

It appears directly related to the versioning rule. Is that possible or could there be other reasons?

Is there any other way to turn on versioning other than setting a rule in the space?
