Use Alfresco Share. It is possible to implement the snapshot functionality you require. Take a look at how Alfresco models Multi-lingual content to get an idea of how you can do snapshots.

Thank you for the answer. I've checked the multilingual content model but I would like more details : I took your answer as an advice to create a customised content model which would be similar to the multilingual content model, am I wrong or not ? If I understood well, could you give me more indications (in case you had precise ideas about how to implement the model), please ? Thank you for the help.
