    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hello everybody,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;we're currently testing Alfresco Community Edition but I have some questions regarding the integration with IBM enviroments.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;I'd like to know if it is possible integrate Alfresco in WebSphere Portal 6.0 running JVM 1.4.2.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;, otherwise if are released any workaround or tutorial.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;It depends upon what you mean by "integrate with".&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; You could have a portlet accessing a resource in Alfresco running on another AS without problem.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;But I'm assuming that you mean you want to run the alfresco server on IBM WebSphere Portal 6.0 which is now seriously old and out of date.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Your first problem will be the JVM version.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; You can probably run WebSphere on a more up to date JVM and you should look at doing this. Or upgrading to a later service pack of WebSphere.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; From the dim depths of my memory I think 6.1 came with a version 5 JVM?&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; 3.3 needs version 6 of Java.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; 3.2 needs version 5 of Java.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; 2.1 may run on version 4.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Installing_on_WebSphere" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"&gt;http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Installing_on_WebSphere&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
