topic client CIFS acces in Alfresco Archive

client CIFS acces

Hello,I have an Alfresco 3.0 on a Win 2003 Server.I can map a drive to Alfresco with CIFS on the server.But i can't do it on a client computer!Does anyone know what could be the problem or how to find the cause ?Thanks !

Is your client computer trying to connect like this \\alfrescoserverIPaddress\ ?

No, my client computer try to connect like this :
\\ServeurNameA\Alfresco

Just as a sanity check, have you allowed incoming connections through the firewall at your Windows Server 2003?

Check if your are able to accept incoming connections at the following ports: 445, 137, 138 and 139.

Also, check if you're able to ping your Alfresco server name, like: "ping alfrescoservernameA"

I can't ping alfrescoservernameA
but on my other Alfresco 3.0, I can't ping alfrescoservernameA and CIFS run smoothly.

How can I test incoming connection ?
With a ping IPort it doesn't work on both server.
