Hi all, I've got an interesting situation here that I hope someone can shed some light on.

I am running Alf 3.2 Community on a Fedora 10 server with a mysql database.

As stated in the headline, I have content saved from about a month ago, but new indexes and mysql DB that I saved just the other day.

Alfresco runs with everything in place, but I get a "nodes content is missing error" when I select a newer file that the indexes thinks is there, but really isn't.

My main question is: Is there a way to "refresh" the indexes and database to only display what is actually in my contentstore?

How would I go about doing that? and Does the index recovery mode set to VALIDATE have anything to do with what I want to accomplish?

Thanks guys!

delete content of "alf_data\lucene-indexes", set the index recovery mode to FULL, restart Alfresco and set it back to VALIDATE, it should solve your problem.

In the extreme case the problem still not solved retry again but delete the content of "alf_data\contentstore.deleted" as well before running the FULL recovery.
