Hello !Has enybody installed Alfresco and Scalix mail server on the same machine ? I'm traing to run these two applications on my serwer. I have read in the Internet that I can have several instances of Tomcat running simultaneously if I change the ports of each one to avoid conflicts. Ok. I have in

You should also be able to run scalix and alfresco in the same instance of tomcat.

Thank you for reply, mrogers !
I was hoping I won't have to do it that way, but it seems there is no other solution… Today I have tried to run Alfresco with other, clean instance of tomcat - without success. So I will install Alfresco manually and then deploy others applications. Of course I will post my results.

Well you could run separate instances of Tomcat for Alfresco and Scalix. But its going to be more involved that just changing the http port number.

There are, for example, the ajp and https ports that will need unique numbers.
