Which is throwing following exception on server start up.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'processEngine': FactoryBean threw exception on object creation; nested exception is org.apache.ibatis.exceptions.PersistenceException: &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;### Error querying database.&amp;nbsp; Cause: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: Invalid object name 'ACT_GE_PROPERTY'.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;### The error may exist in org/activiti/db/mapping/entity/Property.xml&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;### The error may involve defaultParameterMap&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;### The error occurred while setting parameters&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;### SQL: select VALUE_ from ACT_GE_PROPERTY where NAME_ = 'schema.version'&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;### Cause: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: Invalid object name 'ACT_GE_PROPERTY'.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Tables are not getting created in activiti database.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I did following things to configure mssql with activiti explorer&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;1. Add driver 'sqljdbc4-3.0.0.jar' to 'activiti-explorer/WEB-INF/lib' &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;2. Modified db.properties (Please find attached)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;3. Modified activiti-custom-context.xml (Please find attached)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Please find 'catalina.out' attached for detailed logs&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thanks&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;It should create the tables on first bootup. Did you change anything in the process engine config xml? Or the java config? Or just the defaults.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
