Hello guys,

I designed a content model last week, but I'd like to modify it, and then upload it again in alfresco in the "Data Dictionary\Models" folder. It is usually quite easy, but I'm having trouble because there are nodes in the Alfresco repository which refer to my custom types. Which is weird, taking into account I deleted all such content… Apparently, this content is still in the Archive Store; thus not orphaned! What can I do to clear the archive store ? Is there a way not to 'archive' deleted content ?

There's always the option to start a fresh install of Alfresco, but I'd rather not!

Cheers guys!

I've just read this excellent article on document lifecycle : http://alfrescoshare.wordpress.com/2009/12/17/understanding-alfresco-document-life-cycle-for-backup-strategy/

As far as I understand, you can never clear the Archive Store using the standard Alfresco Explorer features. To do so, you need to install one of the following modules :

Trashcan Cleaner

Content Store Cleaner

Anyway, it's hard to find something specific in the alfresco wiki !
