We are evaluating alfresco to see whether we can use it for our users. I face a problem that I need every file level permission system. But so far I only can find the roles are space level.
in the feature list: I see alfresco provide: "Document Level Security", but I can't find any more information about it.
Anyone can tell whether Alfresco support a file-level read write permission?

Sharing documents can be done at the document level.

In your Alfresco system, select a particular document and show properties. On the right, you should see a list of actions, and one of them will be something like "User Permissions". From there you can Invite User to add an individual to the document, and set the rights that user has for the document, such as read-only (Consumer), read-write (Editor), etc.
