call a Java class from a workflow

Is it possible to call my own Java class, or my Java method from a certain point of my own advanced workflow (xml file)? How should I do it? Could anyone give me clue or a link where I could read information about it? THANKS IN AVANCE! 😃

Yes. This is possible. Jeff Potts covers this in his book. Or, You can also look at http://ecmarchitect.com/archives/2007/11/19/785. In the article (and source) linked to from his blog post. Look at page 41 on…where he discusses 3rd party review for a workflow that includes a custom task of emailing the reviewer.
