You realize this is an open source forum … bumping the very same day is not a very nice thing to do.

Which version of the engine are you looking at?

You can change the max string length in the engine using this setting: https://github.com/Activiti/Activiti/blob/master/modules/activiti-engine/src/main/java/org/activiti/engine/impl/cfg/ProcessEngineConfigurationImpl.java#L583

Yeah I am so sorry about that, since we have already moved to stage and Performance and next week we will be moving to prod , that's the
reason I had to push .
