While mounting CIFS as a network drive give the shared url as
//MACHINEA/alfresco/User Homes/username
I assume that this mapping is done on individual user machines to access Alfresco via CIFS
Ask the users to replace the username with that of their username with alfresco….
Say for eg. it is mounted as z: when they double click that it will take them to their user home directory in Alfresco….

Even mounting it as //MACHINEA/alfresco/User Homes will automatically show only the folder which they have
access rights to which obviously will only be theirs (with an exception to admin users, who will get to see all the users)
Hope it helps

Hello,I have browsed this subject and can't find a good solution for it, for now. The question is that I would like to map a drive letter, lets say Z: to the home folder of my users, each one to his or her folder not to a generic Users folder. Has anyone found a way to do that?Thanks in advance,Joan
