Hi all,

I recovered a backup of the Alfresco system to test if it was done well and Alfresco could be recovered correctly. Weekly, the alf_data folder and database alfresco is syncroniced with backup copy. These actions are carried out in cold backup.

When I recovery Alfresco system in the test server, Alfresco starts without errors. If I search the files created the day that the backup was done, return no results. However, the Alfresco system in production server returned 86 files. In alfresco.log of recovered system show this:

16:21:26,182 WARN [org.alfresco.web.bean.BrowseBean] Missing object returned from search indexes: id = workspace://SpacesStore/b144fdc7-7740-4b7c-8f8d-ef1852bdc749 search query: +@\{http\://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0\}created:[2010\-04\-09T16\:21\:00 TO 2010\-04\-09T16\:21\:00] AND (( TYPE:"{http://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0}content" TYPE:"{http://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0}folder" ))
16:21:26,182 WARN [org.alfresco.web.bean.BrowseBean] Missing object returned from search indexes: id = workspace://SpacesStore/02c26250-5038-4c35-a55e-ee8bb61c9757 search query: +@\{http\://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0\}created:[2010\-04\-09T16\:21\:00 TO 2010\-04\-09T16\:21\:00] AND (( TYPE:"{http://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0}content" TYPE:"{http://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0}folder" ))
16:21:26,182 WARN [org.alfresco.web.bean.BrowseBean] Missing object returned from search indexes: id = workspace://SpacesStore/f6b09b1d-deea-4d1b-a3fd-50b6e510a329 search query: +@\{http\://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0\}created:[2010\-04\-09T16\:21\:00 TO 2010\-04\-09T16\:21\:00] AND (( TYPE:"{http://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0}content" TYPE:"{http://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0}folder" ))
16:21:26,182 WARN [org.alfresco.web.bean.BrowseBean] Missing object returned from search indexes: id = workspace://SpacesStore/a0f58454-ea85-40f3-8398-337a4f71d237 search query: +@\{http\://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0\}created:[2010\-04\-09T16\:21\:00 TO 2010\-04\-09T16\:21\:00] AND (( TYPE:"{http://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0}content" TYPE:"{http://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0}folder" ))
…
‍‍‍‍‍‍‍

Every "Missing object" was created the same day, the backup day. Is it possible that lucene indexes were not updated before performing the backup? How I can resolve this?

Thanks a lot in advance,

try removing the content of "alf_data\lucene-indexes" and "alf_data\contentstore.deleted" , and then run a full index on your server, hope it helps.

Hi hsohaib,

Thank you for your reply. I remove "alf_data\lucene-indexes" and "alf_data\contentstore.deleted" and then run a full index on server. In Alfresco.log there aren´t the WARNs "Missing object…" but the content of the system created the same day that the backup does not exist in the recovered system. What may be the reason?

The backup is done every Friday night. If I recover the system using the last backup, the recovered system has not content created on Friday before the backup. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,
