I got a task, should I accept it?

Am I the only one who noticed that in Alfresco Share when you get a task it has an option to accept or reject but doesn't actually tell you what the task is? If not, is this normal? Shouldn't a task tell you what it is? The tasks I notice have no status are specific to inviting someone to join a
