Rule and Decision

Can some come up with a specific example for both Rule and Decision. I google around to find out the difference between a Rule and Decision. but in vain(I would like to know when do we need a Decision table rather than a rule engine)

A small example for rule can be:
If bill amount is 1k Rupees, give a discount of 10%
If the bill amount is greater than 1k and less than 10k Rupees give a discount of 15%.
The rules mentioned above can change depending on the seasons, or they may even not exist in some seasons.

Decision is taken at runtime depending on the bill amount as to how much discount has to be given.

@asriharikiran . Thanks a lot for the reply …it somewhat solved my question….what I wanted a high level overview of the difference between Rules and decisions.

@Martin, Since Activiti supports both Rules and Decisions, obviously folks like me who has just started looking into Activiti would naturally come up with questions similar to this. If I was focusing on Rule engine ,definitely I would have posted this on a Rule engine forum. I am seeing everything through activiti perspective.
