topic Document Library Dashlet in Alfresco Archive

Hi,

I am using the Entreprise 3.1 version of Alfresco and I am hoping someone could help me with this topic. I have only begun using Alfresco software and I am looking to perform some customisations to a Share site dashboard.

I am looking into the possibility of having the document library component embedded as a dashlet on the screen (screen divided into two dashlets) together with a calendar on a site dashboard. The reason I am looking at it is to consolidate all the required functionality of the user into one screen rather than having the user click into the document library seperate to the site dashboard.

Is this something anyone has looked at before and can anyone tell me if it's possible to achieve?

I would greatly appreciate any information you can provide.

Thanks,
Clem.

It *might* be possible, but I suspect you'll hit all sorts of issues along the way.

Just one example: any component that creates a link to a document path will link to site/page/documentLibrary?path=… so you'll have to update all of those.

Good luck!
Mike
