Hi,

you should probably use import feature of Alfresco respository. From Alfresco Explorer you and only import and export spaces but with org.alfresco.tools.Import class you can import any content to any store. Then you have to prepare XML. More information you can find on http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Export_and_Import and you should check <alfresco_install>/tomcat/webapps/alfresco/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/bootstrap for some examples of XML files.

Other solution is to write Alfresco Action which will read you spreadsheet (or maybe csv) and create users. With such action you can execute it on any file added to repository.

Thanks

I work as an administrator using Alfresco and am a relatively new user with this application. As part of my job I need to create new groups of users on a fairly regular basis. The process that I follow is to access the Administration Console and they manually create each new user via the three step
