In the community meeting last week, we've decided that the forums will stay. I updated the http://activiti.org/community.html page accordingly.The codehaus mailing lists for user and developer topics are now deprecated instead.

Excellent, I was about to ask for the same. Mailing list is pain, the forums are always better
