When you login to alfresco as the admin you will get the group management functions. It has taken several iterations of my configuration, but using nested groups I have a structure that is similar to what you describe. </SPAN><BR /><BR /><SPAN>I have a set of projects with subfolders. I have "employees" and "contractors" and each has different rights within the projects and folders. So I created a top organization group, then within that departments, and within that a group for the employees and agroup for the contractors in that department.</SPAN><BR /><BR /><SPAN>The next step is to create a template space and assign rights to the groups there.
