Thanks!! I used same login as explorer admin and admin but its working for explorer and not for share why help me

error "The remote server may be unavailable or your authentication details have not been recognized."

I'm having the same problem. I can get into /alfresco, but I cannot get into /share with admin:admin. Not sure what is going on and I am pulling my hair out 🙂

I found my problem thank God. :shock: I forgot to install the WCM component. Everything is working with no problem. I saw that there was no message being sent about a bad login while I was watching the alfresco.log. So I went back through the instructions and realized I left out the WCM. Glad to see it working. 😄

I think share should be working without WCM. The message you refer to can also be caused if Share can't connect to Alfresco. For example becasue Alfresco had an error while starting up or Alfresco isnt reachable at the default endpoint configuration http://localhost:8080/alfresco/
