Storing Files at a Physical location

Hi,Once I have uploaded the files in alfresco CMS I want to know hte location at which these files get stored. Also if i want to store the uploaded content or file how will i to a location of my preference say C:\alfresco_uploaded how will i do so??An early help will be highly appreciated Thanks in

Files are stored in the alf_data structure. You can decide where this folder resides using the dir.root property in alfresco-global.properties.

I want to store these files using CISF mechanism where i can physically have my files. I have made changes in the file-server.xml and enabled CISF but still I cannot see my data. Do I need to do something else here????? :?:

As i explorer, all files was converted to file with extention bin.
How can we convert those to be the original files.

You don't access the *bin files directly.

You access your files through one of the many interfaces provided by alfresco.
