Alfresco is an e-mail server, rather than an e-mail client. It doesn't have the concept of 'pulling' messages from another server. You can configure Alfresco as an SMTP server, but then you'd be pushing all your e-mail in, which isn't what you'd want. I would dig around in your e-mail servers documentation to see if it can do what you want.

Thanks,
Mike

Hi ,At the moment, I am still evaluating whether ARM (Alfresco Record Mgmt) is suitable what we're looking for.The demo showing drag&drop from Outlook into Alfresco Space (AS) is almost match our needs. Except that we would like an automaticcopy operation from an email server into AS based on so

Isn't that more a question for your e-mail server vendor rather than Alfresco?

Alfresco provides a standard IMAP interface. It should be pretty easy to set-up Outlook rules to copy messages into the right place, I'm not sure whether Exchange (or A.N.Other e-mail server) has the same capability.

Thanks,
Mike

… to set-up Outlook rules to copy messages into the right place …

Thanks for your reply Mike. Seems to me that you're talking about 'pushing' from Outlook into ARM. What I meant in my previous email was, is it possible ARM 'pull' records, i.e. email, from Outlook ? In the Record Management Console, there is 'Email Mappings'. What does it do this feature ? Is it in this feature if I want to copy all incoming email on Outlook into ARM, matching a certain condition ( the sender should be follow a regex "(.)@mycompany.com" ) ? Where do I have to define that Alfresco listen to Outlook ( or any email server ) ? Is it in alfresco-global.property ?

Thanks.
