Hi Prateek

Where are you at. Have you installed RM and created the RM site? Does it work, can you access the site? Have you created the sample FIle Plan from the dashlet?

We created the product to be intuitive and ease to use, did we fail? What is driving your urgency? Do you know Share already?

When you navigate to the RM site, you will be able to create a file plan. Into this file plan you will be able to upload records from a local drive. The disposal schedules are created at the category level in the file plan. All of this is driven through the user interface, it does not require any bean configuration, or for you to do anything outside the interface.

Carlos

Hi Carlos,

I have a question about record management in share, I have installed the 3.2r version and also created the new site but when I try to create new file plan through Records Management dashlet –> Management console I get "Access Denied - additional permissions are required to access this component". I tried creating a new admin group and assigning alfresco admin (I am logged in as admin) to this group to solve the problem but could not fix the issue.

Can you help please,

Thanks,

Mandana
