Hi there,i have installed Alfresco Community 3.3 on an ubuntu machine.Then I've created a new network drive for alfresco via cifs.Works fine. I can copy files with the windows explorer without any problems. But when creating a new word document, and save the file on the new network drive via "Save a

Check whether sharepoint protocol is installed for saving documents from Microsoft Office to directly into Alfresco repository.
alfresco-installation/amps folder will show whether the alfresco-community-spp or vti-module.amp
is installed. You can usually see it in the startup logs whether vti module is installed and it listens on port 7070

Thanks for your response.

I have the file vti-module.amp in the amps folder.
Here is the content of my logfile after the start of alfresco. i do not see any amp files.

Download the vti-module.amp for 3.3g and drop it into the
alfresco-installation/amps folder and restart alfresco,
http://process.alfresco.com/ccdl/?file=release/community/build-2860/vti-module.amp
that will install the module to enable sharepoint support.
