    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;My installation of Alfresco Community Edition appeared to work fine… for a few days.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Yesterday when I went back to share to upload some new documents the preview did not work citing "The Preview could not be loaded from the server"&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I looked at the alfresco log file and found &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; 16:31:27,285 WARN&amp;nbsp; [org.alfresco.util.OpenOfficeConnectionTester] An initial OpenOffice connection could not be established. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; 16:32:00,114 INFO&amp;nbsp; [org.alfresco.util.OpenOfficeConnectionTester] The OpenOffice connection was re-established.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; 16:40:00,019 ERROR [org.alfresco.util.OpenOfficeConnectionTester] The OpenOffice connection has been lost.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;This same behavior occurs every time the server is restart, with the only variance being in the amount of time it takes before the connection is lost.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I have tried to reinstall OpenOffice, but no difference in behavior.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;**UPDATE** It appears that the OpenOffice connection is lost after the first new preview is generated. **&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I believe I have set my paths for openoffice correctly, because it works for some time while the server is running.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Discovered the solution was that some of the documents I was trying to upload cause the openoffice connection to be lost.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;No common thread amongst the documents that cause the failure.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
