hii want to upload a folder with too many content in alfrescothe folder must be zipi want to unzip the folder when folder uploadedbut i dont know how to do??????please help me

If using the Alfresco Explorer interface, you can upload and extract a zip file by using the Import feature. Navigate to the space you wish to contain the contents of the zip file and have permission to create content. Click the More Actions drop down to reveal the Import function. Click Import, choose a zip file to upload and confirm. The contents of the zip file should be unzipped into the space.

Yeah man.
You just have to use "import" action under "More Actions" in space what you want to import files.
Easy no?

Sure, you can do this.
Why you want to use this old version?
Well, anyway, im working with Alfresco since 2.9 version, and this functionallity works as well.
Can you explain for us what you doing to try the extraction?

The process descrbied by mahin10 works – you may need to refresh the page showing the content of the space, or re-navigate to it, in order to see the files extracted from the zip file that was IMPORTed. (Use "IMPORT", not "Add Content", to upload the zipped file to Alfresco.) This is a nice, easy way to upload multiple files.
