Hi All,

I am running Alfresco Community 3.2r2 on Windows 2008r2 4GB ram 2.83Ghz. Most of my users are using IE6 or Mozilla 3.6 and they all faced the same problem. The login page does not load or it will take a very load time to load (a few minutes). When they are logged in, the document library will take a long time to load as well. So i gotten a few users to switch to IE7 and it works perfect.
I would like to find out:

1) if there is any people who experience the same problem? if yes, did you solve it by another way than upgrading to IE7?
2) is there any particular reason pertaining to Alfresco why IE7 works so much better than IE6 and Mozilla 3.6?

Thanks!!

I can understand IE6 being slow (although not that slow… there's something wrong if it takes "minutes" to display the login page)

Firefox 3.6 will be much faster than IE7 due to the former's better JavaScript engine. You might want to check that browser caches have been cleared and proxy settings are correct, etc.

Thanks,
Mike
