It was a problem with my hosts file setup and also the url or ip address I used to access the site. I'm not totally clear on why it works or why Alfresco is so finicky. I just did as I was told and it worked .. finally.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>I just installed 3.2r on CentOS 5.2. After a few missteps, I was able to get the installer to go through without any errors. I start Alfresco with 'alfresco.sh start' and the console responds with:Using CATALINA_BASE:&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; /opt/Alfresco/tomcatUsing CATALINA_HOME:&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; /opt/Alfresco/tomcatUsing CATALINA_TM</description>
